This video references Hajime Sorayama’s (NSFW) sexy airbrushed robots, early CGI videos like Dire Straits’ Money For Nothing, and (with its spiraling threads of colored light) the oddly similar bits of bubble-chamber particle-physics graphics from the kinda-80s-esque-Klaxons‘ Golden Skans.
